Jason Harper Black-gaze greatness. This album, along with a pair of headphones, are an evening to remember. Genuine and raw. The recording quality could not be any better at attaining the atmosphere this band creates. Favorite track: Sage Moon.

Daniel Blume Yes. Yes. Yes. I crave for this stuff! Vivid (or morbid, if you will) USBM. Can't wait for their new release this year. Favorite track: Bird Song.

eclev Love this. Reminiscent of Wolves In the Throne Room, but this is different because the songs hit you more immediately, there's no 5 minute build up. Incredible atmosphere and feel, haunting melody that pulls you in and keeps you there. I'd say Sage Moon displays these qualities best. Fantastic album! Favorite track: Sage Moon.

about

This is Woman is the Earth's second full-length album, written over the course of three years. Much time and effort was put into writing and recording the album to uphold the original conception of the music. In addition to guitars and drums, a variety of instruments were used, including a Roland Juno-60, bass guitar, classical guitar & ocarina. The album reflects a yearning to reconnect with the spirit of the natural world in a time when that connection is quickly dissolving.
